Chatham County, GA · Georgia
Bloomingdale sits out on US 80 at the far western end of Chatham, closer to the Effingham line than to downtown Savannah. It has kept a rural feel while Pooler filled in behind it, and households here often use a mix of Savannah and Effingham providers.

Local care
Savannah's hospitals are about twenty-five minutes east. Effingham Health System in Springfield is a similar distance north — but it is in a different county, and that is the catch.
We name local hospitals because plan networks are measured against them. Cedar Landing Benefits has no relationship with any hospital, health system or medical practice, and none of them endorse or refer to us.
What is different in Bloomingdale
Your plan list comes from Chatham because that is where you live. Your habits may point north to Springfield. Those two facts do not automatically agree: a Chatham-filed plan is built around Chatham providers first, and Effingham Health System may sit outside it. If you cross the county line for care, that has to be checked by name before you enrol, not after.
Timing
Everyone gets the same windows. Which of them is the useful one depends on where you live and what you already have.

When a carrier stops offering a plan in Chatham, affected members get a window of their own that runs past the normal December deadline. The letter announcing it looks like junk mail; it is not.
